Fans not bans protest v Arsenal
We need to stand up to the club regarding the ongoing resentment and treatment of its fans. First we had the 200 fans that have received bans without being shown any evidence or explanation of why their ST's have been revoked, after this we had fans in 114 moved against their wishes and now we have the yellow cap snatch squad, who's members were employed requesting a cage fighting background and sent into section 127 to harass and provoke loyal fans and should be the last straw for what has (so far) been an ill thought out stadium transition.

We need a show of solidarity to fellow fans without affecting the team. Therefore at the Arsenal match please refrain from taking to your seat until just after the match has started, show the owners and Brady what a big stadium looks like with no fans and no noise (not even bubbles). On your way to the seat please let Brady & Co know how we feel, but after that please back the team all through the game, whether seated or standing be as noisy as you can.

This will be the easiest and cheapest protest to organise with the large numbers involved and will look very effective on TV with a completely empty home section at kick off and will hopefully get the message across for the club and stadium operators to work with us not against.

Agree, could all stay on the concourse for after kickoff, I'm sure they can't make you take your seat.
It will look really obvious with totally empty sections and no singing, especially if the ground suddenly fills up with lots af chanting fans.

Needs LOTS of you to do it though.

Very easy to organise if we can get the word out and get enough doing it. Missing 30 seconds of the match shouldn't affect anyone.

The yellow hat thing could have seen innocent fans on the end of some backlash if people think they are a part of the unmarked stewards.

Hopefully someone can get this out on twitter and KUMB as well as other social media.

I haven't followed this at all, but weren't the club criticised early this season for not doing enough? Now they're taken action and I believe the Stoke game passed without much incident. Not sure what the justification is for a protest.

"I haven't followed this at all"

try getting up to speed on how cuntish the club have been and I'm sure you'll agree something needs to be done.

It's the way they have gone about it Alex V. There people banned for standing due to some bad planning by the club, then there was a few skirmishes due to bad stewarding and segregation. Culminating in the Chelsea handbags with (apparently) 200 people receiving bans with no evidence to back them up.

The incident with the yellow caps was an absolute disgrace and the club should not be able to get away with it.

Well if it was a general protest against the new stadium I could totally understand it. Just wondering on these specific issues whether the complaints are justified - didn't most agree the club had to do something? Most of the stuff I saw on here at the start of the season was how the stadium was woefully under-policed with fights breaking out etc.

>>> There people banned for standing due to some bad planning by the club...

Agree nobody should be banned for standing. Are there any cases of that?

>>> The incident with the yellow caps was an absolute disgrace and the club should not be able to get away with it.

The reports I read said the Stoke game was relatively peaceful and the yellow caps didn't really do much.

If somebody knows different I'd be happy to listen.

Every game I've been to bar one, there has been someone sitting in my seat. Hopefully when I go to my seat thirty seconds after kick off, my seat won't have someone in it!

What ever happened to standing up for fellow supporters V. Even if they didn't even go into the stands it's still unbelievable that the club consider this to be acceptable.

Just let them carry on and it'll just get worse. Just because you'be not been directly affected doesn't mean it's OK. The team should be backed all the way but the Dave's and Brady need to know it's not right, something needs to happen.

It doesn't matter whether the yellow caps did anything or not, it's the fact that someone hired them at all, having them there with ni ID or markings of any sort to identify them, which is against all the rules. They were right there ready to use their fighting skills on loyal West Ham fans who went to the match with no intention of causingfights.

Or maybe fans could just start behaving themselves and they won't get chucked out?

Too simple?

First they came for the Standers, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Stander.

Then they came for the 114, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not in 114.

Then they came for the Chanters, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Chanter.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Considering WHO has about 8 posters who go to games it won't quite be an empty stadium.
